NATURAL JADE: This is a high grade jade pendant necklace. The pendant is completely natural jadeite jade.

CARVING: The pendant is exquisitely hand carved jade (one of a kind!) in the form of the Vairocana Buddha (Also known as Mahāvairocana, Da Ri Ru Lai,Đại Nhật Như Lai). Vairocana Buddha is often interpreted as the historical Gautama Buddha. This piece depicts the Buddha meditating in the lotus position.

JADE COLOR: This jade piece has beautiful shades of green-blue. This piece is semi-translucent as well; this means when held against the light, the light will partially shine through - a premium quality in jade because it gives the jade a "glow" under certain lighting such as natural light.
